VLS-Group expands with VLS-Group Frankfurt

As per the first of June 2005 the VLS-Group has expanded her European warehouse network with a new location in Frankfurt Germany.

The location is situated in the Osthafen in Frankfurt/Main, close to the ring road A3/A.661 and river Main with a direct rail connection at the location. The warehouse counts 11.500 sqm and offers 21.540 high racking pallet places.

The warehouse is equipped with all safety features for a safe and secure storage for harmless and classified packed chemicals. VLS-Group Frankfurt can store hazard classes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9, and has a range of possibilities for temperature controlled storage.

This new location fits excellent in the strategy of the VLS-Group. The company is establishing a European warehouse network for the storage of (classified) packed chemicals and aims to expand this further in the future at other strategic locations in Europe.

Together with the new location in Germany and the location in Moerdijk (NL) which was added in April earlier this year, the VLS-Group now operates in total 11 warehouses in Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany and Italy with a total capacity of 200.000 sqm of warehouse space.

Besides warehousing VLS-Group offers a wide range of customized value added services like drumming, handling, blending, ADR container storage, heating and sampling just to name a few. Furthermore VLS-Group offers transport management for both in and outbound transportation, using the network and a variety of modalities in the most profitable way.
