Huge opportunities for agrochemical products and services in Russia and Central Asia attract international attention of suppliers, manufacturers and providers to this fast growing emerging market. Successful supply chain solutions for deliveries to Eastern Europe, Russia and CIS need to respect the enormous specifics of the available infrastructure, local rules and regulations, customs and The growing demand for transport solutions for deliveries from China, India and other worldwide production sites to Russia and Central Asia are challenging the industry to apply new, innovative, efficient, competitive and environmentally friendly multimodal transport solutions in order to ensure reliable supply chains. Therefore logistics & infrastructure were part of the important topics to be discussed during the ”International Crop Science Conference 2011“ in Moscow on July 4th and 5th, which was organised by Thomas Brakmann, Director Marketing & Business Development as well as General Manager Germany in VLS-Group did have the opportunity to contribute the special knowhow of VLS-Group‘s competence centre for Russia & CIS at Düsseldorf during his presentation about ”Global Freight Solutions for hazardous and toxic chemicals“ to the international audience. ”The interest of international producers in the European network of VLS-Group and specifically in our sophisticated logistics solutions for Eastern Europe and CIS were amazing!“ was the conclusion of the VLS-Group delegation consisting of Thomas Brakmann and Igor Weinstein (Customer Service Manager CIS). |
