GADOT Group sets base for international growth in Europe

 
Netanya, Gent, Düsseldorf; 17.06.2019. GADOT Group announces the rebranding of VLS-Group in Belgium, Germany and Turkey into GADOT following a restructuring of the Group´s European setup of facilities and activities.
Following major strategic decisions and an intense restructuring program related to its European setup of activities and facilities, Israeli based GADOT Group, leader in the field of management and operations in the chemical value chain, announces that its Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management and Logistics activities in VLS-Group Belgium, Germany and Turkey will continue its operations under the GADOT Group brand effective July 1st 2019.
“What might look like a simple rebranding process represents much more for us and our stakeholders” says Opher Linchevski, GADOT GROUP CEO. “The re-structured VLS-Group activities represent the European platform for our ambitious growth plans in Europe in various activities along the chemical value chain. That they will operate under the GADOT flag visualizes our commitment and eagerness to become a truly international company with a strong presence in Europe.” 

VLS-Group owns state-of-the-art facilities at several strategic locations across the European continent. The group’s operates independent toll manufacturing, packaging, tank storage and a warehouse facility in North Sea Port in Belgium and chemical warehouses in Frankfurt am Main and Mannheim in Germany as well as offices at Düsseldorf and Istanbul. It further provides sophisticated, integrated logistics and supply chain solutions and value-added services for a broad international client base in the chemical and petrochemical industry and other sectors.
 
The recent divestments in Antwerp and Rotterdam testify that GADOT group has put more focus on developing its high performing platforms and leveraged its strengths to create a strong and sustainable growth.
“The activities of VLS-Group in Europe with its about 240 employees do not only continue to contribute to the broad service offering of GADOTs international supply chain and logistics activities, we also have the capabilities to integrate those services and activities and increase the accessibility for our GADOT Group European client base”, adds Thomas Brakmann, General Director of VLS-Group Germany & Turkey and future CEO of GADOT Germany.
The rebranding will be effective July 1st 2019.
